  Have always had such a lovely experience here which is why 2 stars. But this recent visit was very un-satisfying. Staff clueless and ditsy, no check backs on food and didn't clear away empties. 2 tables that ordered after us were served first. Food was surprisingly terrible... hollandaise was just melted watery butter - 3 times!!!! Had to keep sending this back and each time was just as awful....when I finally gave up on a breakfast (heavily pregnant so returning food and not eating is not top of the list!!) a member of staff came over to apologise by stating no one else has a problem and I was the only one to complain about it, having worked in the industry this is not how you handle a complaint. Do not order anything with hollandaise they clearly can't make and should remove from the menu!! Do not expect knowledgable staff or attentive service and sit at a table big enough to store your empty plates and glasses. Shame as we visit the island often and always had great memories of this place

  Lovely chilli hot chocolate and a piece of cake. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Much bigger than the one in Colchester.

  Fabulous staff and great Tea. Their own blen Earl Grey is very refreshing and you can buy some to take home with you. Also their Cream Tea and Bread pudding are heavenly. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
